LYS Day 2025 Kit

Local Yarn Shop (LYS) Day is annual day dedicated to celebrating yarn shops around the world.  Designers design special patterns for release on the day and dyers get creative with unique colourways to create kits.

This year I have teamed up with Black Cat Dyeworks, Wol en Vlas and Woolees to create 3 unique kits to make Jessica from Double the Stitches' shawl pattern.

The shawl has an interesting mosaic design and there are even free online sessions you can join to learn how to make the shawl.

The kits will not only include the yarn to make this awesome mosaic shawl but also a bag from the very talented Lily J Designs.

Black Cat Dyeworks' kit will contain Glimmer Singles (100% Merino Single Ply) and Magic Singles (90% Merino, 8% Acrylic & 2% Polyester)

Woolees Yarn's kits are made up of 100% Merino 4ply fingering weight

Wol en Vlas' kits are also 100% Merino Single Fingering weight yarn.

Lily J has designed the most beautiful bag and will hold 2 skeins of 100g of yarn and your shawl with ease.  It has a removable wrist strap allowing you to craft on the go too.

Kits are available as pre-orders and will only be available approximately a week after LYS Day unless they all sell out before then.  You will get an email on LYS Day with your code to download the pattern.  Don't wait to download the pattern as the code is limited for a period of time and cannot be used after that time is up.
